Rangoli
Next door to its internationally renowned sister restaurant Vij’s, Rangoli is not your typical Indian restaurant; each meal celebrates the flavour of different Indian spices and local ingredients. All the cooks are vegetarian and “fine tune” all the meat dishes by their smell.
At Rangoli you can dine in or take packaged meals home and cook them on your stove. I have dined here many times and I have not had a bad meal yet. Favourites include the tilapia on vegetable rice pilaf ($14.50) or the lamb curry with green beans and celeriac ($13.50), all absolutely fantastic.
