A popular luxury consignment store in Vancouver is opening a brand new location this month.
Mine & Yours stocks clothes, shoes, and accessories from the top of the luxury pyramid, like Chanel, Dior, Fendi, Prada, Gucci, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and Valentino. The clothing is largely affordable with many pieces under $100 and for the big ticket items like bags, prices range from $125 for a Burberry tote to $22,500.00 for a Birkin.
The boutique has two locations in the city in Yaletown and the Downtown core, as well as another location on the east coast in Toronto. Next week on Nov. 8, a fourth location will be opening in Kitsilano at 2061 West 4th Avenue.
The new 1760 sq ft space will have the most in-demand luxury items on display with a Bag Wall serving as the centerpiece of the boutique and a Shoe Lounge for designer footwear enthusiasts.
The bag-adorned wall will showcase an exclusive collection of designer handbags, ranging from vintage Chanel to limited edition Gucci bags.
A similar wall will be set up in the shoe lounge, boasting a diverse selection of designer shoes for every style and occasion, from studded Valentino heels to quiet luxury sneakers.
“This store is for those who want a taste of luxury fashion but still want a neighbourly feel and to purchase from a locally owned business," says Mine & Yours' founder Courtney Watkins. "Walk into what feels like your best friend’s closet."
A grand opening party will take place on Nov. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. Expect a pink carpet, live music, a photo booth, complimentary champagne, and a sneak peek at newly stocked luxury items. The dress code is to dress to impress.
