A few days back I made THIS POST claiming that the stop sign at 1st Ave and Cook in Vancouver is the best in the entire Lower Mainland. I then encouraged you to send in what you feel is the best one and was thrilled with the response!
Longtime V.I.A. reader/supporter Lisa Parker sent this interesting one that's in North Van...
Dustin Quasar TWEETED this one he found in the West End a few years back (I imagine it's fixed now)...
Dana McDonald sent in this one. "Okay, so this isn't in the Lower Mainland. It's actually in my parent's very conservative neighbourhood in Ottawa, but it was too good not to share!"...
Robin-Lynn TWEETED this one that was out in New West but got taken down...
Sogol Winters then TWEETED us a similar one that's up in West Vancouver right now...
The band Melomanic TWEETED this politically-charged one...
Daniel Rotman sent in this one which is at Main and 17th and is the same of the one above...
And Cassandra Fenske sent this similar one in from Fernwood showing that political stickers can't be stopped anywhere in BC...
This one came from Carlos Victoria all the way from Antwerp, Belgium! Not exactly the Lower Mainland but the dude is from Richmond, and this sign is pretty funny, so it gets a pass...
Lastly, Mick Dalla-Vee sent in this one. Not a stop sign, but a sign that I would stop and read nonetheless...
We're going to be doing more posts in the spirit of "THIS IS THE BEST THING" in Vancouver, sharing things that we think are the best and then getting you to ante up and share yours.
