It’s the summer of staycations. You’re itching to get away from the city and have a local adventure before the season ends, but don’t really want to fuss around with the logistics of getting all the outdoor equipment together.
For an attraction that has everything you’ll need for a fun day trip, head over to Harrison WaterSports in the Fraser Valley!
Located in Harrison Hot Springs on the emerald green waters of Harrison Lake, Harrison WaterSports is the only floating water park open to the public for the summer season in the valley. It’s a short hour and a half drive from Vancouver, making for the perfect local escape within close driving distance. In addition to the huge inflatable water park, Harrison WaterSports offers a range of action-packed water activities.
With outdoor picnics being the social activity of choice this summer, Harrison WaterSports are the only ones in the Lower Mainland offering a full fleet of floating BBQ boats for the summer.
Bring your coolers and gather up your family for a truly scenic and memorable picnic experience. Your group can use the boat’s built-in BBQ grill to cook up burgers and hot dogs, or you can bring in take-out from one of the restaurants in town. Covered with a shade umbrella, you will have your own private picnic area away from the crowds on the beach.

Run by an electric motor, these environmentally-friendly crafts are equipped with an electric water gun that can spray from up to 10 feet away from your target. It’s like a fun game of socially-distanced water tag that doubles as a cooling off method on a hot summer day!
For those with a need for high speed, experience the excitement of riding a Sea-Doo around Harrison Lake. This two-seater watercraft can zip through the lake with 130-HP engines that exhilarate at over 90 kph. Available for rentals for up to three hours, you can race the vessel around the waters or take a leisurely tour of the lake and its beautiful surroundings.
