CBC Radio One's BC Today just released a podcast that you might want to check out heading into the BC Day long weekend.
Michelle Eliot sat down with myself and other travel media experts, offering up insights on where and how to have the best road tripping experiences in our province.
In my segment I talked up Barkerville BC and how every British Columbian should visit this National Historic Site. It's like Disneyland except instead of meeting Mickey mouse you get to hang with Judge Begbie, Cariboo Cameron and other characters from BC's history.
Michelle and I took calls from listeners and I offered some other tips on destinations for road trips, as well as some helpful advice around planning.
Later in the program they brought in Jensen Edwards from Canadian Geographic magazine, then Elaine Rystead from Local Wanderer, to give even more tips.
