Cheap flights from Vancouver to London, England offer travellers a change of scenery for a steal if they can make the trip in March 2025.
Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, and the National Gallery are just a few of the seemingly endless top-notch attractions in England's biggest city, attracting droves of tourists annually.
Round-trip and one-way ticket prices from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) cost significantly more this year, with tickets averaging well over $1,000. Prices are even higher during peak travel times, such as July and August and the winter holidays, with starting prices between $1,100 and $1,400.
Travellers who can afford to book a trip departing in a few weeks can save hundreds on the cost of a return or one-way trip from YVR.
For example, a WestJet flight departing Vancouver on Thursday, March 6 costs $285 booked through third-party travel supplier FlightHub. However, this itinerary includes two stops, one in Kelowna for nine hours and one in Calgary for over 90 minutes. Travellers who prefer to make one stop only have to pay slightly more, at $298 (see slides two and three).
This price is considered low for economy or $364 cheaper than usual, according to Google Flights (see slide four).
Round-trip flights from Vancouver to London
Return options from YVR also cost significantly less in early to mid-March.
For instance, an Icelandair flight departing Thursday, March 6 and returning from Vancouver on Friday, March 14 costs $660 booked through FlightNetwork. The itinerary only includes one stop in either direction in Icelandiar's hub, Keflavík International Airport (KEF) (see slide five).
This price is considered low for economy or $719 cheaper than usual, according to Google Flights (see slide six).
