Five Metro Vancouver hotels rank among Canada's top 20 places to stay, according to a new report.
The U.S. News & World Report has released its annual collection of the best hotels worldwide. The 2025 edition includes over 31,000 hotels from more than 400 destinations to help travellers find their perfect accommodation.
The news magazine named the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on Hawaii's Big Island the top hotel in the USA.
Four hotels in Vancouver and one in Richmond were included in the Canadian collection.
The Fairmont Pacific Rim was ranked the top hotel in Vancouver and second in Canada, placing behind the Four Seasons Toronto. The property was lauded for its luxurious amenities and ideal location on Vancouver's waterfront.
Another B.C. property, the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, placed fifth, with the Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver placing sixth.
The Shangri-La Vancouver narrowly missed the top 10, placing eleventh, with Vancouver's Wedgewood Hotel and Spa in thirteenth place.
The Versante Hotel in Richmond rounded out the top 20.
