I've said it before that going to the horse races is terribly fun and it's the type of event that appeals to everyone. Last Friday, (l to r) Michael, Boon, myself. and Bob were lucky enough to take in a few races at Hastings racecourse. Now, although the photo looks like a bunch of life long friends, for the most part, we all barely know each other. On top of that, as we found out, one doesn't gamble, and two don't drink......zzzzzzzz.......
Yet we had a great time, despite the fact I was the only one who won (a whole eight bucks!). My point is that the track offers the perfect balance of social interaction and entertainment, you throw in a roast beef sandwich, beer, and a chance to win some money.... FUGGETABOUTIT......good times all around....
Thanks Hastings for getting us out from behind our computers (but not our cameras!), off of facebook, and actually... physically getting together, it's something we should all do more often....
