A longtime Hong Kong noodle chain in Richmond is reopening in a new location today.
Deer Garden Signatures is soft-opening in the former Copa Cafe's spot across from the Richmond Olympic Oval on Nov. 7.
The restaurant's Capstan Way location opened around 2015 and had to close on July 7 after its lease expired, according to an Instagram post.
Deer Garden is known for its rice noodles in fish soup as well as other Hong Kong-style dishes like baked rice and pasta.
The cafe has two other locations, one on Alexandra Road in Richmond and the other on Fraser Street in Vancouver.
Richmond's second Deer Garden location is at 105-6200 River Road and is open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
